The phoney war is over… now let the real battle commence. National League clubs get their campaign under way this weekend and Tranmere Rovers are the outright favourites at 3/1 to claim the title come the end of April, followed by Dagenham & Redbridge at 8/1, Eastleigh at 9/1 with newcomers Hartlepool United 10/1 and Leyton Orient at 12/1. Fylde lead the race from last seasons promoted sides at 16/1 to win the title with Ebbsfleet United 16/1, Halifax 40/1 and Maidenhead United 200/1.
Unsurprisingly Tranmere are the favourites to be promoted (either as champions or in the play-offs) at 11/8, Dagenham 9/2, Eastleigh 9/2, Hartlepool 5/1, Leyton Orient 11/2, Wrexham 13/2, AFC Fylde 13/2, Aldershot 6/1, Ebbsfleet United 13/2, Barrow 9/1, Gateshead 7/1 and Macclesfield 8/1 all leading the pack according to to SkyBet.
