Canvey Island Sign Miller-Rodney And Carvalho
There have been a variety of player movements at The Frost Financial Stadium recently with with two players joining and another two heading off at Canvey Island.
Departing the club are defender John Easterford and midfielder Charlie Barlow who have both joined up with Ryman Division One North sides in pursuit of more game time. Cheshunt has signed for Easterford, while Barlow has joined up with Heybridge Swifts.
Arriving at the Isthmian Premier Division team are central midfielder Tyrell Miller-Rodney and attacker Wilson Carvalho.
Miller-Rodney has signed with the club from Vanarama National League South club Hayes & Yeading United.
He became a member of Brentford in 2011 on a scholarship, emerging through the youth ranks in in 2013 to put his signature on a one-year professional deal before prolonging it during the summer.
Miller-Rodney spent two periods on loan with National League South club Maidenhead United before registering with Hayes & Yeading earlier this season.
Carvalho began his career within the Fulham youth set-up, going on to signing a deal at Port Vale.
He scored 13 times last season for Corby Town as they picked up the Southern League Premier title and after a trial period in Scotland with Hearts during the summer Carvalho joined up with Braintree Town.
