Shots Make Two New Loan Signings
Ahead of their trip to Dartford this weekend’s Aldershot Town have added two key players to their Vanarama Conference squad.
Brentford midfielder Manny Oyeleke returns for a third loan spell, whilst prolific striker Andre McCollin joins on a deal from Kingstonian until 2 May 2015.
Oyeleke, who has joined until January, had two loan spells last season with The Shots, scoring six goals in 40 appearances. He initially signed from August 2013 until January 2014, he later returned in March. He has also a one-month loan with League Two Northampton Town in 2013.
McCollin, 29, has already scored 10 times in 16 appearances this season, adding to his total of 58 goals in 109 games for the Isthmian Premier Division club. McCollin began his football career with Corinthian Casuals, before moving to Fisher Athletic and securing a move to League One side Yeovil Town, making his his Football League debut against Hereford United in August 2008 after coming off the bench.
Two broken legs halted his progress but short loan spells with Grays Athletic, Dorchester Town and Farnborough saw him prove his fitness before moving to The K’s.
