Football Betting Tips – Saturday 16th September 2017

Football Betting Tips

This weekend is the second qualifying round in the FA Cup so there is no National League North or South fixtures to pick from. However, I’ve found a couple of bets I like the look of. The Non League Bets, Football Betting Tips for Saturday 16th September 2017 are as follows.

Woking v Sutton Utd - National League
Sutton moved top of the National League on Tuesday night thanks to Kenny Davis’ goal in added time. Just a few days before a sensational save from Gateshead keeper Dan Hanford had stopped them taking all three points as they turned on the pressure in the closing stages.

This weekend they face Woking who also picked up a win on Tuesday night thanks to Charlie Carter’s late goal against Solihull Moors. It’s fair to say the Cards home form looks good on paper but they have picked up three of their four home wins against sides below them in the table, including two in the bottom four.

Sutton will pose a much different threat to those sides and the 7/5 on offer from Betfred looks too good to turn down.

Bet: Sutton Utd - 7/5 at Betfred

Workington v Hednesford - Norther Premier League
Workington have held their own in a tough few games played over their last three games, they’ve faced three of the top five teams according to the Evo-Stik Norther Premier betting odds. Including a win at title favourites Altrincham in midweek. Scott Allison’s hat-trick helped them take a 5-2 win, although Altrincham played the entire second half with ten men.

Hednesford have been poor on the road so far this season, although like Workington they’ve had some tough fixtures. Workington skipper Gari Rowntree could be in line to make his long-awaited return since breaking his ankle in the play-off semi-final and with home advantage, I feel The Reds are slight favourites to emerge victorious here. If they can show the same level performance they did against Alty, I can’t see any reason why they won’t be picking up another three points on Saturday.

Bet: Workington 11/10 at Bet365
