Rowe Returns To Silkmen

Attacking midfielder Danny Rowe has re-joined Vanarama Conference club Macclesfield Town from Conference North club AFC Fylde.

After impressing on trial throughout the summer, Rowe signed for Fylde in August 2014 from Macclesfield, putting pen to paper with the Coasters just days before the new season kicked-off.

Rowe who can play in both midfield or attack, nailed down a starting berth in the Coasters first-team this season, scoring 9 league goals and he recently picked up the man of the match award in their top-of-the-table boxing day clash against Barrow.

Danny started his career with Stockport County, making over fifty appearances for the club in both the Football League and Conference. In the 2012/13 season he moved to Barrow AFC season and played forty times for the Bluebirds before signing at Macclesfield Town in the summer of 2013.

Meanwhile with the Silkmen facing a number of injury problems at present boss John Askey has extended defender Alex Grant’s stay at the Moss Rose. Grant has made seven appearances for the club so far.

Both Rowe and Grant could feature for Macclesfield as they look to get back to winning ways when they take on Grimsby Town this afternoon. Bookie Bet Victor has Macclesfield Town at 5/1 to return with all three points, while you can back the home win at 8/13.
